Amber Myrick has a credo that she lives by: choose a job that you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life. Amber joined CPC in February 2023 as Executive Assistant to Mike Hines and is loving it. She helps Mike and the firm accomplish a myriad of tasks daily - from helping with clients and finding venues for functions to researching restaurants and sending flowers for a client who’s having a baby. And all that’s just in a morning’s work.
Amber has off-the-charts organizational tools and always exhibits a strong thirst to learn. When something needs to be done, she gets it done. She is new to the world of financial planning but asks a lot of questions and is learning fast. Her favorite thing about CPC thus far is the people she has met. Amber enjoys interacting with her CPC teammates and says the give and take of information and the kind, caring attitude that permeates the firm from the top down is both refreshing and revealing. As she puts it: working with people you like makes all the difference.
Before joining CPC, Amber held a number of positions featuring her skills of Executive Administrative Assistant, H.R. Consultant and Office & Facilities Manager.
Outside of the office, Amber is kept very busy by her young, bubbly daughter and their rambunctious Goldendoodle. Her favorite things to do and share together include swimming, skating, music concerts, bowling and exercising.
