US Large Cap Stocks were slightly down 0.1% and US Small Cap Stocks declined 3.0%. This was mainly due to Iran tensions, rising oil prices, and uncertainty surrounding Federal Reserve policy which caused some rotation away from Al-related growth shares.
Fixed income faced pressure as Treasury yields rose amid renewed inflation concerns. Taxable Bonds were down 1.3% and Municipal Bonds were down 1.9%, with heavy municipal issuance and softer demand adding to the impact of higher interest rates.
International markets diverged, with International Developed Stocks rising 2.0% as less technology-heavy markets proved more resilient. Emerging Market Stocks declined 3.1%, weighed down by sharp declines in Chinese and South Korean semiconductor shares as enthusiasm surrounding the Al trade cooled.
