Ronald McDonald House Atlanta held its annual Hearts and Hands Society Reception on February 4th. The event, sponsored by CPC Advisors, celebrated the non-profit’s recent accomplishments and allowed guests to tour the new House and connect with other supporters. The highlight of the evening was hearing a family tell their story and how they benefitted from staying at Ronald McDonald House Atlanta.
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Atlanta is to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. CPC’s Mike McCool, who has recently been named as President at Ronald McDonald House Atlanta, said “It has been extremely gratifying to see families get the care and comfort they need during an extremely stressful period in their lives.”
The new, 126,000-square-foot Ronald McDonald House Atlanta officially opened in December 2025 on the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Arthur M. Blank Hospital campus in North Druid Hills. The 5-story facility increases capacity by 75%, providing 110 guest rooms, 18 transplant suites and specialized amenities like a five-story playscape.
