As we move into the final quarter of the year, I want to share a few updates about our team and the work we are doing on your behalf. I firmly believe that strong leadership and the highest quality team are essential to ensuring we remain a firm built to support your family for years to come.
Growing Our Leadership Team
We are continuing to build out our leadership team. I am pleased to share that Geri Lanning and Josh Voisine have been promoted to Managing Directors and Nick Hughes has been promoted to Vice President of Development. They have played an important role for our clients and team, and the new roles reflect the leadership they already demonstrate every day.
I am also pleased to welcome De’shawn Owens as Vice President of Compliance, overseeing our risk management efforts. As a fiduciary, we hold ourselves to the highest standards in how we manage your assets and protect your information. De’shawn brings dedicated leadership to this important responsibility.
Thoughtful Use of Technology
I am often asked how CPC is using artificial intelligence (AI). We are thoughtfully incorporating AI to streamline our administrative, operational, and financial processes while strengthening risk management and deepening our planning and research. Nearly two years in, what excites me most is that by reducing back-office work, our team can spend more time with you addressing your unique objectives.
Planning Ahead for Year End
As always, our team spends a considerable amount of time during fourth quarter working on ways to potentially reduce your tax liability. Charitable giving strategies, Roth conversion opportunities, tax loss harvesting, and maximizing retirement contributions. We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with your tax professional to ensure every strategy is coordinated and tailored to your circumstances.
Every update in this letter points back to one purpose: being a great partner to you and your family. Thank you for the trust you place in us. I hope you all have a wonderful fall season.
