Anna Schermerhorn joined CPC Advisors in 2021 and quickly made a strong and positive impact. Working alongside the firm’s other Financial Advisors, Anna’s responsibilities include meeting clients and preparing and reviewing financial documents such as net worth statements and investment reports, running financial goal planning software and serving on our Events, Marketing, Philanthropy, and Technology Committees.
Before joining CPC, Anna excelled at the University of Georgia where she majored in Financial Planning and minored in Spanish. She made the Dean’s List, was honored with the Thomas E. Cochran Emerging Leader Award and was an active member in the Blue Key National Honor Society and the Student Financial Planning Association. Anna also served on UGA’s Student Alumni Council and spent three years as their Vice President of Special Events.
Anna exudes passion, especially for interpersonal connection, the family system and financial well-being. After gaining more work experience, she could see herself pursing a master’s degree in Behavioral Financial Planning/Financial Therapy, where she would learn to apply counseling, communication, and psychological insights to the financial planning process.
In her spare time, Anna loves exploring the North Georgia mountains, spending time with her family (especially her three sisters!), cooking for friends and neighbors, serving in her local community, and travelling overseas. She is an avid runner, Pilates enthusiast, and a novice triathlete.
